Slow day in Suzdal

Before staring the journey towards Siberia, we decided to make one more stop – a day trip to Suzdal, reachable in 4 hours from Moscow. A bit too touristic but at the same time beautiful village was for us a perfect spot for the escape from the busy capital.

Suzdal was bypassed by Trans-Siberian Railway in 19th century (the route went instead through the other town called Vladimir) and it looks like it hasn’t changed since then, keeping the old shape and pace.
